My client is looking for a MySQL Production DBA.
The candidates role will be to assist the existing DBA in upgrading MySQL clusters to version 5.5 to enable migration to Amazon.
The key skills are:
Debian, unix
MySQL 5.0,5.1,5.5 Upgrade, Migration, Replication of live environments
mysqldump, mysqlimport, performance tuning
MySQL Failover
AWS - RDS
High Availability setup with MySQL
Percona
MySQL LVM backup
The candidate must specifically have experience with upgrading MySQL from Version 5.0 to 5.5 to enable migration to RDS.
