Description
Responsibilities- Must have FERC filing experience
- P.E. in Texas required
- P.E. in other states desired
- Perform calculations as needed
- Gather information and prepare technical specifications and designs for assigned project segment
- Organize and monitor project activities including material requisitions, vendor orders, etc.
- Prepare and present information to be shown on drawings, coordinate with drafters and designers, and review completed drawings
- Assist in the preparation of labor and cost estimates and schedules for internal and external stakeholders
- Interface with client-representative technical personnel
- Coordinate with other disciplines as needed
- May serve as a Project Engineer responsible for overseeing a Project Team and ensuring that all project work conforms to company procedure
- Assist with proposal preparation, bids, and review as needed
May work independently or in a supervisory capacity when needed
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering
- At least 5-10 years of relevant professional experience
- Proficient with PC operation, including spreadsheet and word processing programs
Basic understanding of CAD, experience in database operations, and an understanding of the scheduling process
