Pricing Analyst - Midlands
A large utilities provider is currently recruiting for a Pricing Analyst for a 3-6 month contract. They are looking for someone to provide an added value service to the organisation by identifying improvements to processes and identify any opportunities for new revenue capture, together with enhancing quality of information.
The candidate must have the following experience:
- Maintenance of customer contracts including regular review of contract notes, pricing on billing system.
- Relevant experience of pricing and benchmarking in a commercial environment
- Updating and creation of new Packages with associated pricing together with amending Pricing for Services
- Strong Excel skills including the ability to create formula
- Analysing the risk of new products and propositions and recommended appropriate pricing to deliver the commercial targets;
- Produce pricing reports for the senior management to support pricing recommendations;
- Ensuring that products are appropriately priced for different propositions and markets taking into account the different dynamics of markets and different commercial targets
Person specification:
- Proficient in Excel, Word and Outlook
- Ability to identify and act on opportunities for improvements in processes, controls and reporting
- Strong analytical skills, with the ability to search out relevant information and explanations
