You will be working closely with the Head of HR to ensure a skills transference, also to provide a hand over to the permanent OD manager once in place. You will lead on organisational design and change to help transform the business and support the modernisation plan.

Please describe the work activities that the individual will be expected to undertake.
*To review existing resources/structures in line with future business changes.
*Design and Development of organisational structures.
*Defining roles and their capabilities including accountabilities and responsibilities.
*Reviewing staff numbers and grades.
*Develop an organisational plan of structural/resource changes.
*Communicating the associated plan.
*Interventions, frameworks and systems to support change

Deliverables:
* Transform organisational resources structure to meet changing business needs in line with modernisation and change initiatives.
* Design that determines effective organisation solutions to support desired business outcomes.
* To have these in place and a plan for achieving with sufficient lead time for effective implementation.
* To work with key stakeholders managers to ensure work processes are the most efficient and effective.
* To drive through the change across the business ensuring there is ownership of the changes.

Essential Skills:
*Recent business wide experience of organisational design and change.
*Experience of business transformation.
*Relevant OD and business change qualification.
*Strong project management skills.
*Ability to build rapport with customers and their requirements.
*Strong analytical, process and job design skills.
*Strong influencing and communication skills, across all levels and grades.
*Ability to work at a strategic level.
*Experience of working in a highly unionised environment.
*Highly developed critical thinking.
*A strong academic and continuing professional development record, ideally including a good degree or management qualification.
