SAP Basis Administrator (remote work)

Resolute Technologies is starting an SAP Basis (Remote) project with one of our Global Clients, toward the end of April - beginning of May. SAP Basis Administrator(s) will be responsible for performing all SAP Basis related activities including; SAP Installations, Maintenance and on-going support of multiple SAP Landscapes.

This is a 4-6 month project that can be remote.

Responsibilities Include:

On-going support and maintenance of SAP environment (ECC 6.0, SAP PI (XI), SAP CRM, SAP BI, SAP HCM, SAP Enterprise Portal and Business Objects, AIX and DB2)

Proactively monitor systems, performs daily maintenance, job scheduling and spool administration • Perform root cause analysis

Administer and execute release management for Enhancement Packages, Support Packs and upgrade paths for all SAP components

Perform daily system checks of all logs and keep records to determine system usage growth, file system growth, and help plan future infrastructure requirements

Monitor the landscape and notify and work with functional and technical teams to resolve issues identified both internally and as reported by users

Participate in projects to implement and/or enhance SAP systems and applications and work with technical and development teams to define user requirements, coordinate system-wide updates and install upgrades and patches

Perform configuration, change management and testing activities as required

Responsible for systems backup activities including testing and recovery

Evaluate software or system releases to determine compatibility

Coordinate system tuning to improve operational capabilities

Perform proactive review of systems performance metrics and alerts to ensure event correlation and trend analysis are performed on a regular basis.

Qualified Candidates will possess:

5-7 years of SAP BASIS Administration required

Experience in administrating ECC 6.0, BW 7.1, and other Netweaver components.

Strong communication, presentation, analytical and problem-solving skills

Experience working with Big 4 Consulting companies

Bachelor’s in Information Systems or equivalent required
