One of my key clients is looking for a Senior Supplier Quality Engineer that would be interested in joining their fast-growing team in the Minneapolis Area. The following are the details of the opportunity:Position: Senior Supplier Quality Engineer

Compensation: $45-65/hr (depending on experience level)

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in a technical field or scientific discipline
- Five years minimum Medical Device Industry experience
- Combination drug/device experience
- Three years of supervisory experience
- Three years minimum direct quality systems experience with successful track record
- Strong statistical background
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
Responsibilities:
- Performing Quality Engineering activities for new product development projects
- Assigned aspects of the Quality Assurance Department operation to assure compliance with Quality System regulations
- Leading the Supplier Monitoring Program and offering Quality Assurance technical guidance and support to RI
- Managing the Supplier Performance Program and working with suppliers to drive CAPA
- Interfacing with production to implement supply chain based improvements to current products and manufacturing processes
- Performing qualifications and validation testing
- Reviewing and preparing test plans and reports (i.e. qualification, validation, First Article Inspection)
- Conducting audits of suppliers, writing supplier quality plans and reports outlining qualification requirements and test plans
The Senior Supplier Quality Engineer will be working within the Quality Compliance department providing support to perform qualifications of new suppliers and devices. The ideal candidate will have combination drug/device experience and a strong background in supplier quality.
