Senior Sharepoint developer - 2-3 months+ contract - Ipswich - IMMEDIATE START - £350-£400 a dayMy client has developed a requirement for a Senior Sharepoint developer/ consultant to join their team for an initial 2-3 month+ contract (Extension likely)
The selected candidate be joining the development team of 4 to build a document management application which will be used for public sector clients. This application is built in sharepoint and stores/ publishes information for 3rd party users to access.
Your day to day activities will largely revolve around new development to this application which is around 80% built at this stage.
Essential skills and experience:
Sharepoint 2010
Customising Sharepoint using Visual studio and C#
Configuring Sharepoint - Content types, defining custom lists, defining content areas, defining image and multimedia libraries.
Working to tight timescales, Self starter, Ability to work on a task independently
Programming in C# with InfoPath
InfoPath development
Desirable skills and experience
Defining SharePoint workflow
Defining Visual Web Parts for SharePoint using C#
Defining and managing Windows Services to access SharePoint
Windows Foundation Communication
RESTFull communication techniques using HTTP/HTTPS
Managing InfoPath templates
Net 4.x
Manipulating XML using C# / .NET
Access certificates / digital signatures using C#
Manipuating PDF with PDF libraries
Accessing WebDAV information stores
