Infrastructure Engineer - VMware/Citrix - £400/day - LondonMy client a global Retail company based in central London, are urgently seeking a Infrastructure Engineer for a 6 Month contract paying up to £400 a day.
Role:
Infrastructure Engineer responsible for supporting a Citrix/VMware and Microsoft server estate and will play a key part in maintaining the estate. Project and BAU role.
Virtualisation focus. Windows Server, VMware, Active Directory, Citrix
Responsibilities:
- Windows Server administration including configuration (physical and virtual)
- Support and configuration of Active Directory, DNS and WINS
- Experience of VMware within enterprise environments
- Backup, restore and recovery procedures
- Specialism in specific Microsoft Technologies an advantage
- Citrix Back End server support (6.5)
- Citrix client support
- Windows server 2003/8 support
- Active Directory support
- Support and development of the Citrix estate
- Development and support of a sustainability road-map
