Contact duration: 9months + (Strong possibility of extension)Position Description: Activities include discovery and planning the migration of Web applications running on MS Windows platforms, coordinating the delivery of multiple projects, prepare consolidated inventory of all applications, creating and reporting status utilizing dashboard, interfacing with various team across the multiple projects. Must be able to utilize and effectively communicate to applicable parties. Experience Level: 6-10 Years. Skill Set: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent. Must be self-motivated, well organized and have strong innovation and facilitation skills. Proven oral and written communication skills; excellent business presentation skills. Excellent analytical skills. Ability to interface effectively with all levels and across organizational lines, including the business units. Ability to effectively utilize external vendors and resources throughout the organization. Demonstrated success at building team relationships and partnerships across organizational lines.
Looking for Senior Project Manager with experience in upgrading Web Applications on Windows environment
- Candidate must have experience in managing projects involving build and migration of Web Applications on Windows environment in large IT environments.
- Must have ability to discover, analyze, plan migration approach and execute the plan for Web based applications preferably in Windows environment including .Net, Java, Apache, jboss, tomcat etc.
- Candidate will need to have experience driving diverse teams in a Matrix environment to meet the project objectives, timelines and ability to manage multiple projects concurrently.
- Graduate degree preferred.
- At least 6 years of Project Management experience with at least 2 years on Infrastructure remediation involving Microsoft Windows projects.
- PMP & ITIL certifications preferred
- PM with exposure to development of web applications is desired.
- The Project Manager would work across the Business, Infrastructure Management Group, Application teams, Strategic partners, 3rd party vendors & other technical teams to ensure the delivery of a high quality project.
- The PM would be the primary technical point of contact with management and various technical personnel on the project from inception through completion.
- Develops detailed project plans & schedules, coordinates project status meetings and manages resources in all phases of the project in a Matrix organization.
- Works with the project sponsors to oversee delivery performance, ensure delivery quality and report schedule, cost and execution performance.
