DESCRIPTION:
The focus of this 4 month contract will be on defining the executing the conceptual design. Must have design experience with online web sites, web applications or desktop apps.
Mobile design is a nice to have.
Must have be proficient to expert with the following software programs:InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop, Visio, Microsoft Office. The Senior Manager Customer Experience and Design, is part of Non-Branch Channel team, which are responsible for Online and Mobile Banking customer experience in International Banking. This 4 month contract position will report to and support the Senior Manager to design and implementation new concepts and prototype improvements for Online and Mobile banking.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Evaluate existing sites in terms of their usability, visual design, content, and branding
- Identify and document meaningful patterns from the user research and provide recommendations based on established guidelines, best practices, customer needs, opportunities and/or pain points.
- Conduct and analyze stakeholder interviews to understand key success factors for a project or pursuit
- Present concepts to key stakeholders
- Develop Navigation and Interaction models
- Optimize user flows
- Develop design specifications
- Create prototypes using tools such as InDesign, Visio and Axure as required
- Strong Technical skills a plus
- Computer Science or engineering degree or equivalent preferred
- 3-4 years of industry experience
- Well-versed in user-centered design methods and techniques
- Proficient to expert in: InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop, Visio, Microsoft Office
- Excellent analytical and process-oriented skills
- Excellent verbal and written skills
- Experience in working on multiple projects simultaneously
- Ability to work collaboratively on multidisciplinary teams
- Prior experience in UI design for mobile devices a plus
- Ability to work with IT team to convert wireframes and other mockups into rich, modern user interfaces.
- Experience with many script frameworks (including jQuery, modernizr, backbone and handlebars), HTML5 or CSS3 and related frameworks
- Experience with Content Management Systems (CMS) a plus
- Experience with Analytics a plus
