Certes have been instructed to recruit an Environment Manager to join our public sector client based in Blackpool on a 12 month contract. The role will be paying between £550 and £600 per day.
The Environment Manager will be responsible for the delivery and management of Development, Test and Live Environments within a Programme of work. Typically would report to the overall Programme Manager and be responsible for a number of other Environment Managers associated with specific projects within the Programme.
The successful candidate should come to the role with:
- Proven track record of delivery of Development, Test and Live Environments for Programmes involving multiple projects
- Hands on experience of cloud hosting
- Proven track record of TCO Management of all aspects of Environment Delivery including measurement of delivery of benefits
- Strong understanding of the principles of Risk Based Testing.
- Experience of benefit management
- Demonstrated ability to communicate technology solutions in relevant business terms
- Experienced IS Practitioner with thorough understanding of different delivery methodologies and development lifecycles.
- Strong supplier management skills.
- Management and leadership of "virtual" teams in diverse locations
- Highly developed interpersonal skills
