A leading Irish based Pharmaceutical organisation is looking to appoint an experienced Packaging Engineer for a long term contract position.Working on an exciting Secondary Packaging Line investment project for the installation of a new packaging line, we are looking for an experienced Project Engineer with a good knowledge of Packaging systems to oversee the installation, work closely with the vendors through to CQV and handover.
You will be instrumental in the installation of a new packaging line working within a live manufacturing environment.
Skills/Experience required for this role:
*Pharmaceutical Engineering with knowledge of Packaging systems, procedures and equipment.
*Ideally Degree qualified in a relevant subject.
*Experience in tablet handling, counting, bottling, cartoning, and labelling, printing and visions systems is preferable, but not essential.
*Experience in the installation and commissioning of new or transferred pharmaceutical manufacturing equipment.
*Proven background in secondary packaging refurbishment/upgrade and new line installations
*Additional knowledge of serialisation is a distinct advantage
This exciting and challenging opportunity would suit an experienced Packaging Engineer or generalist Equipment Engineer, with strong secondary packaging experience.
