Here is a copy of the Job Specification that has been sent by our client.We are currently seeking a SharePoint Architect to work on a project to migrate from SharePoint 2010 to SharePoint 2013.
Summary of Department Focus:
Content Management and Portals Practice provide consulting and systems integration services in the areas of Portals, Content Management, Collaboration, Social Media, Mobility, Commerce and Enterprise Search. It holds partnership with the market leading products in each of the areas and offers customer's services to consult, implement and maintain product based solutions. Key sub-practices include SharePoint, ECM, Portal & Commerce. This group is one of the niche businesses within Cognizant.
Key Competencies:
Good communication, documentation and presentation skills
- Good in business + process + content analysis and problem solving
- Client facing, ability to engage with business stakeholders, conduct user workshops and manage client expectations
- Translate business issues into IT solutions
- Experience of working in Waterfall and/or Agile methodologies in Onsite and offshore models
Skills / Knowledge:
- Sound functional knowledge of the Portals & ECM space
- Experience of SharePoint is a must
- Knowledge of UML, use case development, business process modelling
- Knowledge of other content management and portals products would be added advantage
- Knowledge of industry standards and frameworks such as Dublin Core, SKOS, XML, XSL, TOGAF is a plus
Experience:
- Candidate should have experience in business analysis and/or functional consulting
- At least 3 full lifecycle implementations of ECM & Portal, in SharePoint.
