Elevate's client a leading Investment Bank in London, is seeking a number of Paralegals and/or Support staff with ISDA Master Agreement experience to work on major compliance projects.
They are looking to hire paralegals and/or support staff with derivatives and ISDA master agreement knowledge/experience. Ideally you will have at least 1+ year experience in derivatives/ISDA Master Agreements. The role will be focusing on Equity Derivatives and Prime Services businesses. The project is for six months initially with extensions likely. General ISDA experience is essential whether in simply in review or negotiation. Languages could be helpful.
The responsibilities of the role are as follows:
To source OTC Derivative documentation (ISDA and ancillary agreements), Repurchase Agreements and Prime Brokerage documentation. To review and analyse ISDA MA/CSA, Prime Brokerage and ancillary Legacy agreements for the Bank. To advise on legal and regulatory issues arising from initiation to termination of Derivatives and Prime brokerage relationships
Required skills and experience:
In-depth knowledge of OTC documentation. ISDA Master Agreement Knowledge Document review experience. A clear understanding of a variety of clauses from OTC and Prime Brokerage agreements. Minimum of 1 year experience representing financial institutions in Equity Derivatives transactions and related activities. Proven record of completing complex documentation within very tight time deadlines. Excellent attention to detail. Strong analytical and communication skills. Enthusiasm and commitment to a team based working environment. This is an excellent opportunity to work with a diverse team on behalf of a highly regarded financial institution.
