Senior Application/server architect - wintel experience
Location: Netherlands, Amsterdam
Duration: End 2014
Application/server architects to join a large international client on existing banking applications migrating to a new Windows version ( 2008, 2012 ). Contract until end of 2014 plus possible extensions.
You will be responsible for talking to the customer to identify there needs and explains in detail how to determine how the server must be configured to be able to operate it correctly. You will be the main point of contact for our customer and will be working on multiple migrations simultaneously and ensure accurate & detailed defining of the requirements.
The Application/Server Architect should be;
- Good communication skills (oral and written );

- Team player.
The Application/Server Architect should have experience in;
- Very deep ( front- to Back End ) technical knowledge
- Several years of experience with Windows Server and Scripting ( VB, Powershell );
- Extensive experience in migrating applications to a new Windows version;
Required knowledge/certification
- ITIL Foundation;
- Windows 2008 MSCE certified;
Desired profile;
a senior engineer with high emphasis on Wintel application architect/migration of knowledge and experience. It's still about function Intake but its very deep end to end technical knowledge and above all very good experience about application device and installs in combination with Front End/Back End structure.
