Based in the South West, we are currently seeking a Contract Electrical Design Engineer for an automotive client on an initial 3 month contract with a strong possibility of extension. The role will involve the electrical design of manufacturing equipment; including risk assessment, specification, quotation and hardware with some exposure to software design of HMI, PLC and safety.
Key requirements:
Design of automated manufacturing/special purpose equipment
Proficient in AutoCAD, preferably AutoCAD Electrical
Proficient in PLC programming, preferably Omron & Mitsubishi
Specification & design of schematic circuits
Commissioning & maturation of manufacturing equipment
CE marking & requirement knowledge desirable
