IT Onsite Support /Service Delivery - Maidenhead /UK



1x IT Onsite Support is needed in Maidenhead UK for one of our client, a prestigious international Telecommunications company. Start time is ASAP. Fluent English and work eligibility in UK is required for application.

Requirements

End user support for Windows 7, Windows 8.1, Office 2010 and Office 2013 products running on desktops and laptops
PC and laptop swaps and re-imaging to resolve problems for users
Deploy and monitor anti-virus infrastructure for server and desktop operating systems
1-2 yrs Operating system and software deployment experience using Imaging tools
Resolve desktop, laptop and mobile device Wi-Fi connectivity issues
Mobile device support experience of iPad, iPhone, Blackberry and Android devices
Hardware inventory and management using system support tool
Experience in creating detailed and accurate documentation
Available to travel on short notice to support EMEA sites
Take part in after hours on-call rotation
Support corporate IT standards and projects
Influence Information Technology centric purchasing decisions
Liaison with local facilities personnel
Adhere to applicable laws and regulations


2-3 yrs Project Management experience
Assist with client server support (i.e. desktops, laptops, servers, LAN/WAN networking)
Server and workstation hardware configuration and distribution
Troubleshoot operating system and networking problems
Enterprise/local storage backup and recovery
Change/Configuration management and documentation
Familiarity with Cisco hardware (ASA5505, ISR2911, 4510, 2960), installation, configuration, power, cabling, etc…)
Experience assisting with installations of DHCP, DNS, PRINT services
Experience assisting with installations of Wireless Access points including AP105, RAP2, RAP5, etc..)
Experience conducting site health reviews and noting and addressing deficiencies
Experience in conducting network bandwidth testing to identify/resolve bottlenecks.
Familiarity with installing and configuring a variety of network printers
Familiarity with Citrix environment
Some scripting experience (Powershell, batch)
Experience installing and configuring SIP/Unistim phones and setting up VOIP Accounts.
Experience installing and configuring LifeSize audio/video conferencing systems.
Lab server and workstation support liaison
3-5 years Microsoft Active Directory, LDAP and NIS administration and security
Installation, configuration, administration of Windows and Apple Mac operating systems
Installation, configuration, administration of Linux operating systems

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE

Technical education or Associate’s degree is preferred.
