QUANTITATIVE ANALYST/DEVELOPER - ASSET MANAGEMENT - ZUG AREAThe EMPLOYER
Our client is an international asset management firm leading in his field, having a multi asset approach.
In order to reinforce their infrastructure and platform, they are looking for a quant analyst/developer.
The ROLE
You will work close to the business and the purpose of your role will be to provide a technical expertise/quantitative approach within the investment management process. You will be mainly in charge of:
- Maintain and design the platform used by the company: innovation, capabilities extension, new functions development, adapt to procedures, etc.
- Provide support to any ad hoc requests (internal/external clients' need)
- Support the analysis and research team
- Act as an internal reference in terms of software development with all technologies used in house
- Ability to understand and to work around financial instruments
The requested PROFILE
- Master Degree (IT, Mathematics, Physics, Science) or equivalent
- Min 6-10 years of relevant experience in the development/quant development sphere, with a minimum of 3 years in investment management support
- Strong development, programming, coding skills (Python, C++, Java, VBA or similar)
- Strong knowledge of technical market analysis, fundamental approach and macro economics
- Exposure to financial instruments and financial products
- Ability to design, develop, implement and maintain a platform
- Strong analytical skills, business minded
- Good communication skills, creative, think out of the box
- Teamplayer andloyal - English speaker (any other language is a plus)
- EU or Swiss passport (or Swiss permit)
