Job Description:Responsible for the design, modeling, development and testing of a machine, structure or system. Develops functional requirements. Understands and applies standard engineering principles. Creates simulations and prototypes to evaluate preliminary designs and test how a machine, structure or system operates. Designs and tests components, and integrates components to produce final product. Monitors quality of products and controls the efficiency of processes. Evaluates a design's overall effectiveness, cost, reliability, and safety. Investigates root causes of failures to maintain quality and recommend improvements.
Responsible for remediation of product re-processing instructions Including: -Mapping design files with product part numbers and IFUs -Evaluation of existing validations to current regulatory standards -Identifying gaps and issuing appropriate corrective actions (adoption reports, testing). -
*Reviewing Design documentation on line and in hard copy format and comparing it to product information (Instructions for use)
*Analyzing documentation for ties between the Instructions for use and any testing or adoptions completed in the design file
*Keeping detailed notes for each product family researched for later use in Correcting non-conformances
- Any soft skills that would help the individual in this role? The candidate will be primarily doing research, but that may involve asking questions to overworked Engineers, so understanding that their top priority may not be everyone's top priority will be key
