We are currently looking for a Senior Web Developer with Java experience with to work with one of our prestigious clients.Job Purpose
As a member of the Development team and reporting directly to the VP of Development, the Senior Web Developer is responsible for the design and implementation of new product functionality with a focus on the user interface. As a passionate UI Developer you will ensure that the product is easy to use, great to look at and delivers the best user experience possible. Cronacle is a modern three tier application incorporating a JEE central server that connects to agents, applications and other infrastructure technologies.
Responsibilities
- Design and implement functionality for new features as proposed by the Product Management Team
- Work with the graphic design team to ensure that the product is easy to use, attractive and consistent
- Take ownership of the development process, taking ideas from concept to implementation using mock-ups, usability testing and customer feedback as appropriate
- Support and improve existing functionality of the product
- Provide technical mentorship to your colleagues
Skills
-Strong UI developer
-An intimate understanding of the browser
-Strong understanding of the server side of Java
-Experience in Web Development, Javascript, HTML, CSS and Java.
-Excellent written and verbal English communication skills
-Preferably experience with Java desktop applications or applets
-Candidate must have the right to work in the Netherlands, or be a citizen of an EU member state
