I am currently looking for a Mechanical Design Engineer for a permanent position in the South of Yorkshire. My client is one of the world's largest speciality technical services companies, delivering a broad portfolio of engineering solutions that keep facilities operating, minimizing downtime and maximizing profitability.
The role is extremely varied and will consist of working with mass balance, specifications, and vendor's right the way through to operational work. You will be focused on one / two large projects at any one time.
You should have experience either within an engineering design office servicing chemical process plants or from a process plant itself
You must be dynamic, energetic engineer and self motivated. Must be able to manage manufacturing and installation contractors and willing to solve problems practically. Good communicator who can discuss ideas with groups ranging from plant operators to investors.
You will be expected to do mechanical design using Inventor. Experience of process plants, operations and working to high temperatures degrees) / high temperature systems is integral for this role.
