Description
I am currently working with a client that provides bespoke and turnkey project planning, mechanical and electrical installations, and complete engineering design risk assessment and engineering project management to industries that include brewing, drinks, dairy, food, sustainability and healthcare.They are now recruiting for a Control System Engineer on a contract basis.
Experience Needed:
RS Logix 5000 Functional design experience
RS Logix Configuration experience
Siemens S5 PLC Experience
Understanding of S88 standards
Knowledge of PLC,SCADA and HMI configuration
iFIX
Rockwell Factory Talk SCADA
Process Engineering Experience (Liquid process, tanks, vessels, chilling, filtration and dosing systems)
ROLE:
Initially doing the functional specifications for the RS Logix 5000 / SCADA system
Followed by doing the detailed design
Attend site meetings with the client (occasional travel will be required to Belgium)
Commissioning the system onsite
Experience:
The project is working in a Brewery plant, and the client is ideally looking for an engineer that has previous experience working in the Process Engineering industry including, Dairy, Food and Beverage, Water and Pharmaceutical.
If you have previous experience working with Liquids, Tanks and valves this would be an advantage.
Contract Length - Up to 12 months
Location: Office is based in Midlands
