Description
Following recent successes in the region, our client, a leading global telecoms company, has secured significant projects spread over the next several years. As a result of this committed expansion, an opportunity has arisen within the MEA Programme Management Team, for a French-speaking Project Manager to support both pre-sale and post awarded projects predominately for the North Africa region, based out of the UK.
Scope of Responsibilities/Expectations:

Provide support to bid team response by defining scope of work along with corresponding timeline and budget

Project Manage all aspects from contract signature through to final acceptance ($2M - $10M typical)

Primary interface with customers/user/stakeholders

Prepare and manage the project implementation schedule to ensure milestones and deadlines are met

Manage costs and revenues in accordance with set targets

Day to day management of project logistics, activities and resources to ensure deliverables are achieved

Management of subcontractors

Control of the use of standard construction rules by the subcontractors

System integration management
-
Change order and risk management
-
Project quality management
-
Maintenance of project correspondence, progress reports and documentation control

Comply with policies and procedures.
Specific Knowledge/Skills:

Previous experience in project management on small to medium scale projects

Knowledge of Project management methodology

Good negotiation skills

Strong presentation skills

Computer literate
-
Commercial awareness
-
Excellent French, written and verbal skills

Willingness to travel within territory as project needs dictate

Cultural awareness
-
Strong background in Civils Engineering and MEP (ideally a qualified engineer)
