For our client in Diepenbeek Belgium who works with major studios, games publishers, broadcasters, and digital agencies, we are looking for a Video On Demand test engineer.
Profile:Excellent knowledge of pull VOD
oAsset management
oBilling
oVideo server
oVOD application
Technology areas: Video-on-Demand, DVB, IPTV, Over-the-Top
Technologies: MPEG, DVB SI, DSM-CC, DVB-C
Experience in Digital TV Set-Top Box Testing
oTest Plan writing
oTest Execution (also using head-end equipment)
Experience in Digital TV Head-end Testing
oTest Plan writing
oTesting new configurations and/or new components of digital TV head-ends
oTest Execution (using Set-Top Boxes and DVB monitoring tools)
oBug Reporting and management
Coordination of small technical teams (0 - 4 people)
Test Result Reporting (Technical & Management)
Willingness to travel (some weeks/months in Munich Germany, some weeks/months in Diepenbeek Belgium)
Fluent in English (Dutch and German is a plus but not necessary)
The tasks and responsibilities of the VOD test engineer are:
Video-on-Demand Testing
Gathering requirements, objectives
oAttending client meetings, networking
oSummarizing requirements, objectives for the test projects
Test Plan writing
oSpecifying test cases & test procedure & test coverage
oEstimating required time for test execution
Test Execution and Coordination of Test Execution
oUsing Set-Top Boxes and DVB Monitoring Tools
Bug management
Test Result Reporting (Technical & Management)
Location: Diepenbeek, Belgium/Munich, Germany
Travel: 50% - 100% (project based)
