Profile

Responsibilities

Provide hardware and software support services to the Istanbul office: user help desk, user questions and resolution of problems, maintenance of laptops, desktops, printers and other hardware.
Hands on active support of all users in the office
Installation, configuration, and ongoing maintenance and usability of desktop/laptop computers, printers, handheld/mobile devices, peripheral equipment and software within established standards and guidelines, including ensuring computer assignment and office setups are completed before start date.
Troubleshooting issues with, desktops and notebooks including connectivity, blue screens, viruses, and printing for both on & off Site users.
Android/iPhone/Windows wireless devices deployment and support.
Provide support for mobile users who work at home, travel, or work from a remote office, using remote management tools.
Respond to all end user support issues in a timely and professional manner.
Remote and desk-side installation of various software packages, engineering tools, and patches.
Use image software to apply Windows operating systems or perform backup images.
Perform new hire user education.
Manage and document work using the ticket management system.
Recover data from hard disk drives and/or perform data migrations.
Activate network ports and work with the networking team to troubleshoot port related issues.
Troubleshoot network printer issues, Remote Access account issues and Windows domain account issues.
Deliver a high quality service by keeping end users fully informed of the progress of their support incident at all times.
Manage and maintain equipment inventory records via serial number and user.
Maintain accurate record of all loaned equipment and ensure timely return of all leased equipment.
Provide Blackberry Server Administration.
Setup and maintain email accounts security.
Requirements

Minimum 2+ years’ experience in a Help desk and/or desktop support environment (or a similar role).
Thorough understanding of Windows Operating Systems.
ITIL Foundation certification is a plus.
Strong Hardware and software troubleshooting skills is a must.
Excellent customer service skills to work effectively with clients.
Possess excellent organizational skills.
Must be professional, self-motivated, resourceful, flexible and work with minimal supervision.
Must be able to set priorities and be flexible in a fast paced environment.
Ability to troubleshoot email and network port / wireless connectivity issues.
Ability to follow through and document issues and resolutions.
Must be able to follow procedures and protocols as outlined by Senior Management.
Fluent in English and Turkish
Must be able to multitask, excellent verbal and written presentation abilities.
High communication and customer service skills to always assist the end user in a polite and professional manner.
Capable of grasping new concepts without prior experience.
College degree or relative work experience.
Ability to lift or move equipment, if needed.
