Description
My client a leading digital Australian brand requires experienced Senior IT Business Analysts on a contract basis for an upcoming key project.
The successful candidates will report to the BA Team Manager and will work through all phases of a project life cycle, initially discovering business needs & writing requirements with business stakeholders so that business cases can be written.
This role will be responsible for Consulting with Business and IT stakeholders to investigate, analyse and document requirements for systems & processes. Whilst also facilitating workshops and capturing requirements from stakeholders. The role will also be responsible for managing stakeholders, scope, estimations & timelines for the production of Business Requirement Documents and estimation sessions during project delivery.
Further responsibilities will include;
- Arrange engagement with Process Analysts
- Communicating with stakeholders regarding requirements and project status
- Translating business requirements into clear, concise, testable and accurate user stories, process flows & wireframes
- Work with user experience designers to ensure designs are aligned to requirements and scope
- Conducting Iteration Management and providing Project Management support
- Assist to identify, evaluate, and recommend solution options
- Providing guidance and clarification to training, development and testing team members
- Advise stakeholders where there are competing or unclear system requirements
- Raise project risks and issues as required
Technical Skills and experience required;
- Must have strong proven experience in Agile and Waterfall projects
- Must have strong proven experience with Agile methodologies - Preference for Scrum
- Ability to manage the requirements scope and administration of business analysis activities without Project Manager input
- Ability to facilitate requirements gathering workshops, user story prioritization & iteration management of project 'walls'
- High level of personal and professional standards
- Variety of Business Analysis & documentation experience
- Well-developed verbal & written communication skills
- Variety of analysis experience, ie, business, data, stakeholder, functional, non-functional, gap, architecture analysis etc.
- Requirements traceability management
- Knowledge of BABoK
Experience working in at least one or more of the following:
- Analysis of an online platform for both internal and customer facing applications
- Successful track record of integration and Back End experience
- Large scale ERP or CRM implementations
