Role: Enterprise Architect
Duration: 11 months (until )
Location: London
Security Clearance: BPSS Check with Disclosure of Scotland before start
Rate: £550-£700 per day

Our public sector client is recruiting for an Enterprise Architect role based in London for 11 months initially.

You will provide architectural support to procurement and delivery functions, with a particular focus of ensuring the solutions proposed or delivered support the service requirements and stated outcomes. This could be in the form of supporting or partaking in negotiations, workshops, market engagement sessions, or other forums involving the client and their suppliers/bidders. You will be responsible for supporting the procurement of FITS services through the evaluation of bids from a Service Design, Solution, Transformation, and Transition perspective.

Experience required:

Detailed experience and knowledge of ICT application and infrastructure technologies: Hosting, platforms, complex business applications with varying architectures etc.
Enterprise Architecture experience covering technology and application architecture.
Understanding complexities around transitioning services between suppliers and to new target architectures.
Enterprise Architecture experience within large organisations
Comprehensive knowledge of Architecture processes and their interaction with wider ICT Service Management (eg TOGAF, ITIL).
Providing guidance,senior stakeholders within the programme.
Subject matter expertise in secure 'private-cloud' based hosting solutions; IaaS and SaaS cloud based hosting solutions; design, deployment and management of virtualised infrastructures; and a wide variety of Legacy platform technologies (including Windows, Red Hat Enterprise Linux, Solaris, HPUX, AIX, VME and Oracle).
Experience and knowledge of application migration and data-centre consolidation from strategy to successful delivery
TOGAF/ITIL/Archimate certification (optional)
