IT Project Manager

Description

• Responsible for the implementation of a new energy efficiency customer engagement solution which will provide electric and gas customers with targeted, customized recommendations and actionable steps to reduce costs and save energy based on their profile.
• The Energy Efficiency organization is focused on the identification, design, delivery, and management of EE programs that serve customers across multiple states.
• This project will target residential, municipal, and commercial & industrial customers, and will provide the Energy Efficiency group with Market Segmentation, Data Analytics, and enhanced reporting.
• The platform will interface with internal applications as well as link to external systems of our vendors and partners.
• The Project Manager is responsible for overseeing the overall execution and delivery of the solution implementation, including the development of the business and technical requirements, testing management, data conversion, technical implementation, change management and roll-out.
• The Project Manager will be overseeing multiple tracks and will manage business and technical resources as well as consultants and a product vendor contracted to deliver the solution.
• The Project Manager will be responsible for working with the sponsors to build and deliver project status updates to multiple levels of management including senior executives.
• The successful candidate will be responsible for managing all aspects of project delivery including budget, schedule, and scope management; managing risks and issues; providing clear and accurate weekly and monthly project reporting and forecasting; acting as a champion to foster a positive project work environment; and successfully lead the team to accomplish all the project objectives on time and on budget.

SKILLS:

• Bachelor's Degree and 6-9 years Years Experience required
• Candidates MUST HAVE previous experience with large Energy Efficiency SaaS implementations, including working with system integrators and product vendors to be considered.
• Experience working at senior levels of Management is a plus.
• Should have PMI certification as a PMP. Will be fully knowledgeable and proficient in all aspects of the project management Body of Knowledge.
• Must have demonstrated experience successfully managing large Energy Efficiency projects with multiple tracks and be able to cite practical examples of this including example deliverables.
• Must have experience with the project scheduling tools, either Primavera or MS Project.
• Must be a high energy, detail oriented individual who will demonstrate: high calibre communication, leadership and people skills; strong organizational skills; and the ability to successfully initiate, track, report and drive projects to completion.
• Will demonstrate a proven ability to collaborate and coordinate activities with diverse groups, including stakeholders, sponsors, team leads, vendors, other project managers, and technical staff; a strong process orientation including producing high quality documentation artifacts; and a sound working understanding of IT concepts and the IT design & delivery life cycle.
• Also will demonstrate the ability to interact effectively at all levels of the organization from administrative and technical staff to executive Steering Committees, and also the ability to plan and execute Organizational Change Management to ensure that the technical solution delivered is fully accepted and used, and provides solid business value.
