Description
This is an excellent opportunity to work for a top tier firm in the trading industry crossing over between quality assurance and development space and to work with top talent in the trading industry. This is a full time position located in downtown Chicago.Key Responsibilities & Duties:
- Design test strategies and frameworks to test algorithmic trading software
- Testing of low latency/high frequency trading platforms
- Build testing tools using advanced automaton techniques (Java)
- Execute system and integration tests to ensure all software components work together
- Work closely with development, trading, and QA teams
- Document work flows and best practices for QA teams
Requirements:
- BS or MS Degree in Computer Science
- 4-5 years Java development experience used for automation
- Testing framework knowledge like JUnit or TestNG
- Scripting background in Python or Perl
- Working knowledge of Unix/Linux systems
- Selenium and cucumber experience a plus
- Knowledge of test environments, tools and infrastructure in an Agile environment
- SQL experience
- Financial or trading background nice to have
