Summary-Provides strategic and tactical leadership to identify the value of Abbott Diabetes Care products and services by providing health economic and reimbursement support for payers. This may include health economic studies, health economic data analysis, outcomes research and reimbursement analysis and strategy (coverage, coding, and payment).
Key features-
-Facilitates the work of the Global Health Economics & Outcomes Research (HEOR) professional team as the group manages hundreds of contracts, thousands of invoices, and a multimillion dollar budget.
-Monitors, track, and reports contract and payment status against time-frame and funding.
Core responsibilities include:
1.) managing in-process third party vendor confidentiality agreements and contracts as well as associated documentation,
2.) tracking project status, time-frames, and financials,
3.) approving invoices for payments
, 4.) assessing transparency reporting to the government,
5.) training new scientists and project managers, and
6.) maintaining department adherence to company business, finance, and compliance policies and procedures.
Education -
Advanced degree required (Maser's or PHD) in health economics or policy, epidimiology or statistics. Experience in medical device or pharma is required.
