Our client a large international Chemical Corporation is seeking an IS Business Partner Territory Central for its offices in SwitzerlandWe are currently looking for a IS Business Partner Central (D,PL,CZ,SLO, CH, Baltic) who will provide IS leadership and expertise to Territory Central, in order to improve and sustain business performance by stimulating efficient and beneficial use of information technology and related expenditures.
In this role you will:
• Proactively provide strategic IS leadership to the Commercial Functions within Territory Central to analyze (including risk), challenge and influence the decision making and strategic direction for the Territory Central; Ensure the beneficial exploitation of IS and challenge business sponsors to ensure the realization of planned benefits is being measured and achieved
• Develop partnerships based on business acumen and functional expertise, to collaborate and create an agreed 3-5 year IS roadmap for Territory Central, aligned to the business and strategic agenda
• Build trust and creditability based on functional expertise with business (at leadership level) and the corporation stakeholders; .Be seen by stakeholders as contributing to the business agenda and influencing decisions
• Collaborate closely with corporation Strategy and Architecture to ensure the corporation IS landscape is aligned to changing business needs and challenges
• Develop the Territory Central IS portfolio, working closely with stakeholders to jointly build and own business cases for sustainable change throughout its lifecycle, including the realization of benefits
• Lead the development of key IS governance processes required to sanction IS projects; Provide input to the CIO architecture and budget review processes as required
• Bring IS knowledge from within the corporation and external foresight to innovatively shape the future
• Actively promote and facilitate global business process and information harmonization within Territory Central
• Leverage network across organizational boundaries to obtain business sponsorship, support, funds and resources for each project to ensure they are sufficient to deliver the identified benefits
• Act as an corporation ambassador to leverage and promote the corporation Business Services Target Operating Model
Requirements
• Degree in Information Technology or relevant working experience
• Commercial knowledge/experience, including control of budgets and understanding financial tools and analyses
• Experience in a lead role in IS functions involving influencing at management level
• 2 years project or program management experience
• Knowledge of project management methodologies, business process management, Lean Six Sigma or comparable methodologies
• Knowledge of IS technologies, processes and operating model, understanding of existing and emerging technologies/systems/services
• Ability to deliver needed business impact whilst ensuring compliance with corporation’s processes and systems
• Awareness of activities and best practice of competitors and other industries
• Ability to stimulate and challenge business leaders to lead the creation of a portfolio of projects
• Negotiation and influence skills, strategic direction and decision making
