Senior Project Engineer - ElectricalLeicestershire
£20-£24 per hour.
12 month contract
My client, a leading global engineering services company is seeking to hire a Senior Project Engineer - Electrical, to work on a 12month project in Leicestershire.
Role Description:
Participate in the budgeting process to include recommending capital improvements and preparing justification data as required
Researches, studies, and proposes use of new technologies to be used in the development of new and improved products
Evaluate designs for performance, safety and reliability
Directs preparation layouts, drawings, specifications, and bills of material etc.
Skills:
Proven record of managing a team
Experience with a high level cad system
Excellent IT Command
Experience with automotive or off-highway equipment preferred
Good analytical and problem-solving skills
Prior knowledge of CAN based systems
PTC Pro-E electrical design and routing CAD skills (RSD)
Windchill or Teamcenter PDM/PLM knowledge
Possess a strong mechanical knowledge of vehicles and related systems
The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 8 years experience, and a Bachelor's Degree in Electrical, Mechanical or General Engineering.
