My client, a large financial services institution, is currently looking for an Employee Communications Lead to join their Global Banking and Markets (GBM) team to work as part of a global programme. The purpose of the role is to lead and drive global employee and stakeholder communications to support the programme.

Key Accountabilities:
The successful Employee Communications Lead will be accountable for owning and managing the delivery of global communications.

In line with this, key responsibilities include:
- Develop and deliver individual Employee Communications plans and activity to support key deliverables within the Programme plan
- Establish a GBM Intranet site for GBM employees which reflects the GBM approach to implementing Global Standards
- Coordinate the logistics behind communications activity, including organising Webex and face to face activity, setting up managed calls, uploading content on Intranet sites etc.
- Manage the global communications network identified to support GBM Global Standards; promote communication best practice and ensure optimum standards across regional communications teams
- Collaborate with the wider Employee Communications function both across the programme to ensure aligned communications
- Monitor the overall quality of employee communications delivery within the programme
- Work closely with key senior stakeholders within the programme.

Experience Required:
- Extensive experience in an employee communications role, ideally in Banking or another Financial Institution
- Proven track record in developing, managing and implementing employee communication plans translating into solid and practical delivery programmes
- Excellent writing and editing skills
- Excellent interpersonal, strategic planning and project management skills
- Excellent stakeholder management skills, including the ability to work confidently and effectively with senior stakeholders across teams, geographies and cultures
- Experience of managing a wide range of internal stakeholder relationships including by Matrix and virtually

This role is initially being offered on a 6 month contract paying between £/day.
