Senior Marketing Analyst
My client delivers consumer travel demand from nearly every continent to nearly 149,000 hotels and hundreds of airlines, tour operators, car rental companies and destination services supply partners. My client is now looking for an experienced recruiter to join their busy team based in London.
Responsibilities:
Provide analysis & insight into performance of Hotels.com mobile.
Drive business understanding of the effect of mobile marketing spend and provide clear and actionable recommendations to the marketing team to optimise efficiency of spend.
Manage & prioritise multiple projects simultaneously.
Effectively communicate analytical methods & results to internal clients in a non-technical and easy to understand way.
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities Required:
Essential:
University Degree or equivalent
At least 3 years experience working in a Business, Marketing or Analytics Organization
Experience of working with medium to large scale volumes of data
Ability to communicate complicated analytical solutions clearly to non-analytic individuals one-to-one, in presentations and over email
Ability to extract and combine data from multiple sources
Demonstrable skills in working with spreadsheets/pivot tables and databases
Ability to understand technology with a particular focus on E-commerce
Advanced knowledge of MS Excel
Knowledge of multiple relational database environments and advanced querying via SQL or DB2
Advanced querying using SQL or DB2
Passion for new technologies
Desirable:
Experience of using statistical software such as SAS
Experience of working with Hadoop
Experience with Reporting Tools such as Tableau
Experience of working with Mobile platforms
Knowledge in A/B testing concepts and design
Experience with Web Reporting Tools such as Omniture or Google Analytics
E-commerce experience
Travel industry experience a plus
