Specialist Commercial Analyst - London -
Role Overview
Huxley Associates are looking to recruit a Commercial Analyst, based in London, on a 3 month contractual basis. Our client is looking for a Commercial Analyst who has a financial background but more importantly, the candidate needs to have strong communicational skills and to have demonstrated stakeholder management.
Role
- You will be supporting the Lead Commercial Analyst with strategic decisions.
- Assisting in the preparation of discussion materials, which are tailored to various stakeholders to be used in strategic meetings.
- You will be developing operating and financial models, which will support long-term profitability forecasting and commercial scenario analysis.
- Identifying and capturing stakeholder requirements, and meeting these requirements through analysis and modelling.
Key Requirements
- Display analytical problem solving skills and the ability to assimilate information, to facilitate escalation and resolution of issues
- Must show Relationship Management experience
- Background in Finance (budget creation), Sourcing or Supplier Management areas/systems would be an advantage
- Good written and oral presentation skills
- Strong inter-personal skills and confidence
- Ability to manage conflicting demands of a variety of stakeholders
- A broad understanding of a business or service environment - ITIL or equivalent
- Service management knowledge would be an advantage
- Strong Excel/MI skills
