Description
The Martin Health Care Group is currently seeking a Physician Recruiter to be responsible for executing all phases of the recruitment of physicians and mid-level providers from initial contact through start date.
Duties and Responsibilities (including but not limited to):
- Candidate lead generation, pre-screening, and appropriate follow up with physician candidates for designated services
- Analyze applicant credentials and skill level
- Serve as liaison between candidate, Directors of Operations, Site Managers, and Physician Site Directors
- Attend association meetings and physician training programs
- Source candidates through Internet searches, physician job boards, email blasts, cold calling, and various advertising campaigns
- Work closely with the candidates to coordinate interviews, negotiate contracts, and initiate the medical staff appointment process
- Create and execute effective recruiting plans to manage the entire recruitment process
- Coordinate, track and triage each step of the recruiting process
Skills and Abilities:
- High degree of judgment and independent decision-making abilities
- Ability to interact effectively with physicians, mid-level providers, hospital administration, colleagues, and management
- Self-disciplined, ability to work in a virtual office when necessary, and flexibility to work evenings or weekends as required
- High degree of initiative, creativity and willingness to accept responsibility
- Exceptional organizational skills and multitasking ability
- Resourcefulness and problems solving skills, with the ability to handle deadlines and changing priorities
- Self-starter requiring minimal supervision
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to present the Company in a positive manner to multiple audiences
- Excellent hands-on recruiting experience to both source new prospects as well as follow up with current candidates
- Expertise with MS Office Suite and Internet search
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree in business or health related field preferred, equivalent experience acceptable
- Experience in health care recruiting required
Working Conditions:
- Typical office environment
- Overnight travel may be required
