A leading regulatory body is looking for a senior Corporate Strategy Manager to implement and lead corporate strategy within its Policy Risk and Research Division.
The role is responsible for shaping and reviewing the longer-term direction of the organisation (through a corporate strategy) and ensuring that divisional priorities are aligned to the corporate strategy.
The immediate priority is to support the Executive Team in developing the first 3-5 year corporate strategy, thereafter working with the business to support delivery of key initiatives that form that strategy.
>Core Accountabilities:
*Input into and influence the development of the corporate strategy
*Communicate and present corporate priorities to teams across the organisation, including senior management
*Work with divisions across the organisation to identify the key risks and shape corporate priorities
*Shaping the way the Strategy Team works and to ensure that it provides advice and challenge on strategic planning and delivery
> Key required Skills and Experience:
*Significant experience in a corporate strategy role is key
*Good understanding of core regulatory functions and how to deploy them to achieve the largest impact for consumers in the financial services industry - ideally will have come from a regulatory or government body
*Good understanding of regulatory policy
*Excellent stakeholder management skills and ability to achieve buy-in to corporate agenda.
*Excellent analytical skills, assimilating large quantities of complex information to identify priorities, themes and trends.
*Excellent communication skills
*Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team.
*Effective use of project/programme management disciplines.
