Description
You will join a team of technical specialists to assist in the implementation, maintenance and support of a large and complex network environment that supports a key government department.
As a technical infrastructure specialist, you will enjoy a range of tasks, including:
- Undertaking a lead role in a proactive problem resolution service that will minimise disruptions to and meet agreed performance targets for key network systems.
- Consulting, negotiating, and providing expert advice all stakeholders
- Identifying gaps and opportunities in the delivery of services and assist in developing solutions
- Providing outstanding customer service and promoting a proactive culture
- Investigating, identifying and coordinating problem solving activities for the maintenance and support of a large and complex Windows network environment.
Managing and coordinating minor projects to implement and upgrade a large Windows network environment
As the successful applicant, your will demonstrate a minimum of 5 years' experience and excellent skills in the installation, configuration and management of the following systems and technologies:
- Microsoft Exchange
- Microsoft Office
- Windows Server
- Windows Desktop OS
- Windows XP
- Windows 7
- Microsoft Active Directory
- Group Policy Management
- Scripting (Powershell 2.0+ or VBScript)
