I am currently seeking Calibration Engineers to work with my client based in the South East.
Some key information regarding the position is as follows:
*To provide support in powertrain calibration for the range of engineering programmes.
*To take responsibility for the delivery of a powertrain calibration feature.
The successful candidate will also work as a member of a calibration project team located at the customer site and will be responsible for the calibration of a major powertrain feature, working in accordance with client processes & procedures and in conjunction with client engineers and technicians as required. As a senior role, the person will be expected to work with the minimum of supervision.
Special aptitudes:
*Proven experience in the field of powertrain calibration, this can include but is not limited to;
oLeading the calibration of a major feature in a powertrain calibration programme.
oDiesel & Gasoline control systems.
oVehicle based and engine dynamometer based calibration.
*Familiarity with proprietary engine management control systems [Bosch, Continental, Delphi, Denso].
*Use of powertrain calibration interface tools [ATI Vision, INCA, CANalyser].
*Use of analysis tools [Matlab, Simulink].
Additional aptitudes that would be an advantage;
*Experience of hybrid and electric vehicle technologies.
*Experience of modelling of powertrain control systems.
