Workday Cutover Manager.

This role covers the Test Analyst in the central IT development workstream of the clients Programme responsible for the planning delivery of test events as part of the next waves of implementation

The programme is tasked with rolling out a complex HR transformation to the global businesses of the client and will include HR process globalisations, introduction of Workday HCM and payroll functionality, a large number of associated and complex integrations as well as a range of supporting technologies including case and knowledge management.

The role will involve all of the following activities:-

Test activities
Support the Central or Hub Test and Cutover Managers in the following tasks:-
o Creation and maintenance of generic or specific hub test event plans and processes and associated global templates for Unit Test, System Integration Test, End to End Test and Service Rehearsal Test
o Participation in programme level status reporting
o Management of the creation of functional test scenarios/test cases
o Administration of test scenario execution processes and monitoring their success
o Participate in planning for and the delivery of end to end traceability of test outcome with test scenarios, design blueprints and requirement specifications.
o Provide inputs to iQMS Test Plan and Test Report documentation
o Administration of processes for the management of project and business tester lists and mandated certifications
Managing the test logistics including test rooms, daily communications with testers about locations and travel, test priorities etc.
Managing the scenario lists, maintaining quality and associated reporting
Looking after the tester approval process to co-ordinate all the different tasks that are required to get a tester ready
Managing defects - monitoring defect data quality, chasing progress particularly late defects, providing ad hoc defect analyses etc
Control User access to and administration of test tools
Produce daily test status reports

Cutover activities
Support the Central or Hub Test and Cutover Manager in the following tasks:-
o Co-ordinates the delivery of validated test environments for all technical components for all test events as delivered by market IT and vendors
o Liaises with country IT and vendors to contribute resources to test environment IT support arrangements
o Provides inputs to the launch readiness tracking process
o Inputs to programme cutover plans and supports the Central or Hub Test and Cutover Manager in delivery of cutover for all technology components in collaboration with Country Cutover Co-ordinators who will deliver the business change components to cover:-
o Migration of all business change management to live use
o Liaises with Data Migration Deployment Leads to realise test environment and production data loads
o Liaises with central Security Team to establish test roles and test user assignments
o Migrations of technical changes to production
o Completions of support transition tasks and knowledge transfers
o Launch and release communications including suitable cutover checkpoints and decisions
o Production of daily cutover status reports
o Development of suitable cutover rollback plans in the event of failure
Provides inputs to iQMS TIPs and TIRs for each release
Creates daily cutover reports as directed
Provides ad-hoc cutover status reports as required
