Programme Planner - Edinburgh - 6 months +

We have a fantastic opportunity for an experienced programme planner based in Edinburgh. This post will initially be 6 months but may extend.

You will be required to develop the existing approach to monitor progress across the Programme, instilling a more rigorous and regular process of review. This will require you work closely with work stream leads and Projects managers across the organisation. You will be required to travel to Glasgow and Stirling, you may also be required to travel to other UK office on ad hoc basis.

Candidates will be expected to hold a Basic Disclosure Scotland issued in the last 12 months or be happy to undergo this clearance.

Essential skills -

  • Excellent PPM experience in a complex Programme environment, leading to successful delivery
  • Experience of partnership working with non-government organisations
  • Ability to present and explain complex information
  • Prince 2 practitioner accreditation or similar
  • Strong experience of MS Project and other project management software
  • Ability to support and challenge colleagues out with traditional line management structures

Desirable skills -

  • Any knowledge of tax policy or administration
  • Financial management and monitoring experience
