Candidates need to have the ability to prepare procurement strategies and plans to support the QEC programme to challenging timescales along with a thorough understanding of terms and conditions and a proven track record in negotiating all commercial, financial and schedule elements of the contracts.
Degree qualified in business or engineering discipline, or equivalent.
MCIPS qualification or equivalent.
Maritime or Aerospace and Defence experience advantageous.
Potential scope in terms of materials, again advantageous, as is specific experience in equipment, such as engines, valves, pumps, steel and pipe.
