Responsible for analysing RF dynamics, as well as engineering the deployment of WiFi solutions across the enterprise. Solicit project requirements, compare to established standards and apply these to develop and implement the appropriate solution for our clients. This will require a hands-on approach and will also require the ability to participate in a rotational operational role, during business hours, as well as off-hours.SKILLS:
Requirements:
- Wireless - with the core competencies of a Sr Network Engineer, this individual will possess a specialty in RF and WiFi technologies. They must display the command & control over a Cisco centric WiFi enterprise environment, that includes office space, warehouse and other industrial (outdoor) solutions. The ideal candidate will have no less than 7 years experience in the discipline, within an enterprise environment.
- An engineering position that will require at 7 years of experience within a corporate enterprise environment.
- Candidates must display the command & control over Cisco network services, with core competencies in Switching, Routing & Security protocols & technologies.
- They should include, but not limited to Nexus/Catalyst Switches, to include VCS, Spanning Tree, Multicast & Ethernet framing.
- BGP & EIGRP routing protocols, along with MPLS environments.
- Cisco ASA Firewalls, IronPort web appliances, ACL's and general security frameworks are also required.
- The ideal candidate must possess the communication skills to convey in both a written and oral manner, the basics of their activities, in a manner that non-network savvy people can understand.
- This is a team environment and this individual must assimilate & contribute to the execution of team goals.
- This individual must be self -motivated and require minimal guidance or direction.
