Front End Developer
6 Month Contract - Cork
This is a great opportunity to work with one of the worlds' leading innovators in IT. My client, ranked among the top 10 most valuable technology companies, is seeking a motivated Front End Developer for a 6 month contract with a strong likelihood of extension. The successful candidate will work with a dynamic team of dedicated, innovative and talented professionals focused on creating cutting edge mobile applications all in a compelling and rewarding work environment.
Requirements
* Advanced JavaScript, For example you will have strong experience with:
o Modules
o Linting (JS Lint)
o Templates
o Promises
o AJAX
o Offline storage, etc
* Strong experience with at least one Front End framework such as: Senchta Touch, ext.js, backbone, angular, knockout, ember.js, JQuery Mobile, Dojo, YUI
* Experience with packaging and deploying web apps (Grunt, jenkins, sencha cmd)
* An understanding of REST server/web services (spring, node.js, fabric)
* Some experience with unit testing (QUnit, Jasmine, Siesta)
* An Understanding of CSS3
* A basic understanding of web/mobile UI and usability
Highly Beneficial
* Experience deploying apps on native mobile (Phonegap, Titanium)
