Support Analyst contractor is required for our client a global organisation based in the Midlands. This is an excellent company to work for, with a challenging environment. 6 months initially likely to extend. Flexible on rates for the right person.

The Identity Management Infrastructure (IMI) Team is responsible for the 24 x 7 operation of services delivering: authentication and user attributes via LDAP, Single Sign On, self service password reset, Unix/Linux access control and user provisioning & identity management. These technical services support key business services and are critical elements in supporting the business objectives.

The main roles of the IMI team are:

 24 x 7 support of systems (office based support 8:30-17:30  Mon-Fri, callout at other times)

Design and implementation of identity management solutions

Implementations and Installations

System Changes

Advice and consultancy

Reporting to the Identity Management Infrastructure Team Leader, you will be a member of an essential team dealing with day to day problem resolution and root cause analysis of identity management and provisioning solutions. The successful candidate will also be responsible for the management, implementation and administration of IMI System Changes.

Roles & Responsibilities

  • Day-to-Day problem investigation and resolution, including root cause analysis (RCA), and maintaining accurate and up-to-date Service Desk records.
  • Management, implementation and administration of system changes.
  • Working on projects and work packages assigned to you by the Team Leader.

Essential Skills Required

  • Proven experience within a support environment.
  • Experience of Identity Management Solutions and their supporting infrastructure
  • Good working knowledge of one of: HPUX, Red Hat Linux, VMware or LDAP.
  • Good familiarity with web technologies such as XML, Javascript, HTLM, cookies, SSL and general web page construction.
  • Ability to assess and diagnose problems and requirements for production systems, identify root causes of technical issues, and recommend and/or implement solutions.
  • Solid understanding of distributed architecture operating systems and hardware.

CA products, Identity Manager, Siteminder and LDAP
