Description
Our client is looking for a Network Security Consultant on a 6-month contract basis. Candidates should have experience working with CISCO Firewalls as well as Palo Alto.
Looking for technical resources that have managed or implemented Firewalls/ITIL. They are moving to the newest version of Firewalls (the product is Palo Alto). They are phasing out of CISCO.
Technical capabilities include:
- Experience doing log analysis
- Intrusion Detection
- Penetration Testing
Security Technical Skills
- Nessus Vulnerability Scans
- Splunk (log analysis)
- Palo Alto Firewall (phasing out of Cisco FWSM)
- Snort and WebDefend also a benefit
Security Softer Skills
- Security Process Controls
- Security Awareness Training
- Senior Firewall/Security expert that has managed or implemented Firewalls
- Execute key project activities that may include design, plan, and execute changes, documentation of Palo Alto (new version of Firewalls)
- Be a senior technical expert on identified systems
- To quality assure designs against internal and Customer security standards
- Validate designs as required for identified projects
- Attend meetings as required to facilitate project delivery
- Adhere to Policy, Standards, Process, Procedures and Guidelines
