Overview:
As a Marketing manager, you are a fully dedicated business leader, shaping the future of one of our client's products. You take part in a complete marketing experience as you lead every facet of the product's journey. From determining positioning, competitive analysis, feature prioritization and external communications, you help shape the voice of the product and help it grow a loyal consumer base. This means you work with a cross-functional team across corporate communications, legal, webmasters, product development, engineering and more. The role enables you to organize product launches from beginning to end and form future marketing strategy.
The role:
Based in London, the Product Marketing Manager for Movies/TV for our client will be responsible for driving the marketing strategy throughout EMEA. With a background in the film/TV industry and the marketing of online content you will work with a range of partners to drive awareness and usage of Movies. Example projects include, but are not limited to: launching the service in new countries; launching new product features; structuring and executing co-marketing deals; developing creatives and media campaigns to drive usage; running events to generate awareness and press coverage; winning support for your ideas, and launching them.
Responsibilities
Drive marketing strategy for Movies/TV for our client in EMEA, and execute product and feature launches across EMEA
Develop creative marketing programs and campaign and channel mix to drive maximum product awareness and usage
Build and manage relationships with partners in the film/TV industry, and unlock co-marketing programs leading to increased product usage
Leverage and analyse user and competitive insights to shape product positioning and messaging
Work with the Android and mobile applications in a cross-functional team to define and refine marketing initiatives and coordinate across EMEA
Must have:
Movie marketing professional with a deep understanding of the movie/entertainment sector (particularly digital content)
Experience with product marketing, product messaging/positioning
Experience with direct response & acquisition campaigns
Preferred Qualifications:
Demonstrable organisational skills with ability to manage and coordinate projects that span multiple locations
Solid understanding of the mobile industry and our client's position in it
Strong organisational, leadership, and proven quantitative & analytical skills
Strong written and oral communication skills
Excellent problem solving and analytical skills with a high degree of analytical rigor
