Our Dublin based client has an immediate requirement for a strong Scrum Master with strong knowledge and exposure to the Banking Sector. This person will work closely with Client Business/IT team & internal development teams and act as the Onsite Single Point of Contact for all queries. This person should possess a proven track record of Scrum Master, Business Analysis, Consulting, requirements gathering, analysis, design, UAT etc.

Requirements

  • 6-10 years of Industry experience, having worked in Tier-1 IT organizations in BFSI domain for large banking projects.
  • Domain experience in Banking (Loans, Deposits, Payments etc.) and key regulations & associated IT impacts, affecting the Banking market, such as Single Euro Payments Area (SEPA), Faster Payments, Payment Services Directive, Account Switching etc.
  • Good understanding of the European Banking Landscape, for both Retail & Wholesale business
  • Understanding of Agile methodology/experience working as a Scrum Master
  • Experience in Use case Modeling, Creating use cases, workflow diagrams etc.
  • Experience in conducting UAT/BAT
  • Good communication skills with ability to lead domain discussions with BFSI customers
  • Engineering + MBA degree is preferred

Responsibilities

  • Facilitates Scrum processes & meetings (eg Reviews, Stand Ups, Planning, Estimation, Scheduling, Prioritization)
  • Makes sure the team is fully functional, productive and improving quality over Sprints
  • Shields the team from distractions and interferences (including the Product Owner)
  • Enables close co-operation across all roles and functions, removes barriers
  • Responsible for reporting progress, including producing standard outward-facing artifacts
  • Manages Product Owners expectations of the team
  • Responsible for keeping time and quality requirements
