Overview:
A leading financial regulatory company is looking for an experienced professional to shape and review a long-term corporate strategy. This is an exciting opportunity to take the lead on developing a corporate strategy for a new and complex organisation which will make a positive difference for consumers in the financial services industry.
The team is relatively new, and its immediate priority is to support the Executive Team in developing the first 3-5 year corporate strategy, thereafter working with the business to support delivery of key initiatives that form that strategy.

- Input and influence the development of the corporate strategy
- Communicate and present corporate priorities to a wide range of stakeholders, including senior management
- Work with divisions across the company to identify the key risks and shape corporate priorities
- Play an active part in shaping the way the strategy team works and ensure that it provides robust input, advice and challenge on strategic planning and delivery
Minimum, Essential & Desirable skills:
Minimum
- Significant experience in a corporate strategy role
Essential
- Excellent stakeholder management skills and the ability to engage and achieve buy-in to a corporate agenda
- Excellent analytical skills, including the ability to take in, assimilate and aggregate large quantities of complex information, and identify priorities, themes and trends
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
- Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team
- Ability to work well under pressure and within tight deadlines
- Ability to think on one's feet, shape problems and the appropriate approach to their resolution, including effective use of project/programme management disciplines
Desirables
- Experience developing a corporate strategy for a regulatory company
- Good understanding of core regulatory functions and how they should be deployed to achieve the biggest impact for consumers
