Instrument Engineer, Aberdeen, Contract

-Based in Aberdeen
-6-12 months rolling contract
-Around 45 an hour
I am looking for 2 Degree qualified instrument engineers to work in Aberdeen onshore, on an offshore oil and gas installation project focussing on functional safety. You will need to have 5-10 years of directly relatable experience and you will ideally be chartered with demonstrable experience on your CV of a wide range of instrumentation engineering. Working on documentation to 61508, 61511 and ATEX functional safety standards, you will need to have worked on instrumentation such as Scada, pressure relief valves, control valves Ect associated with O&G instrumentation. Your role will also involve both vendor and client liaison to make sure that precise specifications are being delivered and the correct items are being selected. You will need to be competent using industry standard documentation systems and be Degree qualified. You will need to be based out if the North East of England as the client is ideally looking to set up an office there in the long run. *Flights and Accommodation will be provided*
